Recently the whole school participated in the Goon-a-Warrior Colour Run! It was a fantastic colourful event and everyone had a wonderful time. Thank you to all our volunteers who gave their time to plan and run this successful event to raise money to help improve the school playground equipment.
It was a delight to see two of our students receive awards in the Essay Competition section at the recent Sunbury Show. They both wrote on the importance of volunteers in our community - a fitting topic for a community event.
On Wednesday 11th September our Grade 56 students and teachers headed off to Camp Wilkin, Anglesea for 3 days of fun and adventure. As well as group activities on the first day, they all went to the beach, then after dinner they went for a night walk, then toasted marshmellows on the campfire.
On Monday 2nd September, it was great to see so many of our Dads, Grandpas, Pops, Pa’s, uncles and other significant role models join their children in the classroom between 9am – 11am. Some activities they participated in were reading groups, making paper planes, skipping, drama classes, drawing.
On Monday 19th August we celebrated Book Week with a Dress Up Day & Parade. Everyone had a great time and looked fantastic in their costumes! There have been Book Week activities in classrooms as well as a story read over the PA system each lunchtime by Grade Six students.
